Hokkaido Ramen Santouka

For a friend's birthday dinner, we chose to dine at Santouka. Somebody's craving ramen..again XD We tried the Trinoma branch which is located at Trinoma Gardens outside the Cinemas.

 The place was spacious and they have a long table which could easily fit 15 adults which we reserved.

The Verdict? Let me start by saying I like the place. It's spacious and they also have like a private room. For the ramen I usually order Shoyu (Soy Based) which I didn't regret one bit. The Shio was too plain for me and the Miso is also good but well I like Shoyu better. You can just add spices if you like. 

I also like the fact that they have set meals. Not that a bowl of ramen won't get you full but for those with big appetite the set meals' a winner.

The price was very affordable too. One bowl of ramen at other ramen places is just equivalent to their set meal (price based). Two thumbs up for Santouka. 

So yup we all enjoyed our ramen here at Santouka.

Yakimix Trinoma

I've been here 3 times already. First with my boyfriend. Because I wanted to try the smokeless grill like the ones shown in koreanovelas and it was free (^_^)V.

I ate this all ehehe

Second with my family. Because I wanted them to experience it too.

And now with my colleagues. Goes without saying how I love the place. We reserved a week before to secure our table.

 It's located at 4F Trinoma near Time zone.

Eat and drink all you can at PHP538 (lunch) but since Feb 25 was a holiday we were charged PHP688.

Now my target is their sushi/maki bar. Who wouldn't seing how beautiful their presentation was.

 I think it's called kirin boat?

The colors, the variety, I'd love to try each one.

My first plate. The japanese pizza was good! Lots of cheese.. The sisig was good and spicy too.

My second plate. Trying out the maki's. Did I say the sisig was good? Well it is.

 Now this is not my plate. But I accepted the challenge of eating something raw. I think it's called sashimi?? Anyway I thought it would be well fishy 'malansa' but it's not. Very soft and its ...ok. Haha

Cooked some meat.

Of course.. desert! Love their ice cream and puting candy sprinkles on it. The others not so much :)

In buffets, the trick is not to eat rice. Just get small servings to taste each dish then just come back to get the ones you really liked. So another day goes with a happy and fulfilled tummy. :)

Hanamaruken: A taste of Japan

I've been craving about ramen recently so my friends and I decided to try the new ramen place at 2F Trinoma garden restaurants.. Hanamaruken.
The ambiance was very simple and nice.

We ordered their signature hapiness ramen PHP480 a bit expensive because of the pork ribs topping I guess

gyoza with soy and chili sauce PHP150

I ordered the hapiness rice bowl with pork ribs toppings which is a bit greasy for my taste PHP250 

My friend ordered the drunk man rice bowl with kakuni whatever that is. I like this one better than the happiness rice bowl though PHP240

We weren't able to finish anything as the servings were too generous for 3 girls haha

I love their signature hapiness ramen and I'll definitely come here again. 😊
