Fenty Beauty Liquid Foundation First Impression

BadGalRiRi has recently introduced her own make up line called Fenty Beauty. The liquid foundation boasting 40 shades at launch. The thing is, Fenty Beauty is only available at Sephora online in the Philippines so selecting the right shade is quite a challenge. The liquid foundation retails for PHP1950 so better select the right shade the first time.
It comes in a gray/black gradient box.

Medium to Full coverage for all. Longwear. Light as air.

Ingredients. No Parabens. Has Talc. No SPF indicated.

Shade: 260 Medium Neutral
They have an app like shade matcher. Just input the shade you usually use in a foundation and they will give a shade match for Fenty Beauty. I usually use Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream no. 27 and my shade match is 350 Tan Neutral. For your reference I'm NC40 in MAC. But do keep in mind that foundations oxidize if you're acidic so get one shade lighter than your skin. Why 260? I just borrowed it from a friend 😜

I thought it would be too light for me because my friend is alot fairer than me but it turned out okay.

I applied it around 2pm. I used a beauty blender to apply to give a little moisture as it has a reputation for drying too quickly and being dry. I have oily t-zones but dry areas around the mouth so I was expecting it to highlight dry patches but it didn't though it feels a bit tight. I didn't use any primers to test longevity. It does dry quickly so you have to blend it real fast. It feels lightweight and a little goes a long way. It has a medium coverage.

in natural light.

12am in office light
I already feel oily but trying to resist blotting. I already felt oily around 8pm so it lasted for a good 4hours.

yup very much oily.

but it's still intact after blotting hell even my lipstick was still intact (Nyx Lip Lingerie in Exotic) without retouching. Parang natutulog lang. 😂

Will I buy one for myself? Nope. It's too expensive and I end up getting oily anyway so i'll stick to my good old bb cream with spf.

TLDR:
Pros: Coverage is good and it's lightweight. Stays all day even after blotting.
Cons: Expensive, dries too quickly, feels tight on dry areas. Probably not for people with dry skin.

Yatai Yakitori Ramen

Have you heard about the new ramen craze in town? The humble Yatai Yakitori Ramen stand located at Tomas Morato cor. Scout Fernandez, Quezon City just across Chili's.

It's the small ramen/yakitori street stand known for it's long lines and very much affordable ramen. But is it worth it?
I love ramen and to satisfy my curiosity we decided to brace one and a half hour of waiting time just to try it. Mind you we arrived at around 12:30am and was only seated at 2:00am. They were even offering if we would like to eat without a table?! (facepalm) after waiting for that long? seriously?

This is probably because they only have 4 small square tables arranged to form a long table so they can only seat 8 to 10 people at a time. And yes you will share tables with strangers because remember it's only a street stand so dining experience was not that comfortable, cramped even.
The menu contains pictures and prices of the food they offer. They have 5 types of ramen with the Super bowl at PHP105 and Overload Bowl at PHP135. They also have rice bowls for PHP75 and side dishes ranging from PHP20-PHP50.

Probably the most affordable ramen you can find as most Japanese restaurants offer ramen for PHP350-PHP500 per bowl.

Preparing the ramen

Yakitori PHP45
I like this one

Buta Bara PHP50
This is good too

Tebasaki PHP35
Very bloody chicken wing

Shoyu Ramen Super Bowl PHP105
Soy based non spicy ramen. It was okay but somehow lacking.

Konbata Ramen Superbowl PHP105
Creamy non spicy ramen. I was expecting a tonkotsu (pork) base but it turned out to be buttery in taste. The egg tastes weird a bit sour?

Just to give you an idea how big is a Super bowl

Going back to the question, is it worth it? For the price and taste maybe it was okay. There's really nothing special though it's really affordable. But I honestly prefer Tokyo Tokyo's Spicy Chicken Ramen if you're looking for an adfordable ramen.
For the long wait, to satisfy my curiosity yes it was worth it but will I go back again? NO.
TLDR:
It is affordable, the taste is okay, the lines are too long (hype), the dining experience was not okay.  (^_^)
