Omakase - Il Terrazzo

My friend had a sudden craving for ramen after watching a show that features different types of ramen so today we decided to try ramen at Omakase Tomas Morato Branch at Il Terrazzo Mall.

The place was simple like most Japanese restaurant..

Sukiyaki PHP280. Good for two. Tastes like chapchae with additional beef tofu and soup. It's sweet. It's good but I don't like sukiyaki in general so.. yeah

Pork Gyoza PHP180. Almost didn't taste the pork. All wrapping and very little pork inside.

Shoyu Ramen PHP195. Soy based soup with chicken strips fish cake and egg. Good enough :)

Groupie after the meal ^_^

I think they're specialty is sushi which we didn't try 😅. Maybe next time..

Cafe by the Ruins

I've been to Baguio countless times but it's my first time to try the much raved about Cafe by the Ruins.

It's just walking distance from Burnham Park.

The place was packed when we arrived and they don't take reservations on weekends so we had to wait in line.

The ambiance was really nice..

Menu

The food was good too but a bit pricey.

Baguio Bagnet PHP320
Bagnet with Mountain Rice.
Single serving only. Must try!

Rizal's Tsokolate-e PHP180
It was good but I'd rather have a venti hot chocolate at starbucks with the price :p

Crispy Tapa PHP300
Crispy Tapa strips with Mountain Rice. Looks promising.. I'll try this next time :)

Chai Tea

Others also recommend their strawberry shortcake but it's seasonal so I hope to try it next time. :)
