Online Shopping for Cosmetics & Stuff

I love to shop online! that goes without saying especially cosmetic stuff. I understand that the thought of online shopping is a bit scary for the first time but you'll get used to it. There are a lot of things you can purchase online (you'll be surprised) but mostly I shop for cosmetics online because I don't have the time to go to the mall with my work shift and weekends spent in the province.
Shopping online is scary because there are a lot of fake stuff and scammers on the net. So you'll have to be really careful when choosing the product and the shop. Here are a few online shopping sites I've personally tried.

1. BeautyMNL.com
They offer brands including but not limited to L'oreal, Maybelline, NYX, Pink Sugar, ColourPop
Banila Co, COSRX, Innisfree, Mizon, Shu Emura, Shiseido, Nars, Bobbi Brown, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Kylie Cosmetics. This is a legit site with prices similar to mall prices. They sometimes offer free shipping and there are freebies upon checkout. This is where I purchased my NYX Liquid Suede. Free shipping for orders PHP2000+. Multiple payment methods available (PayPal, Creditcard, Bank Payment, CoD). Shipping may take some time.

2. StuffinStyle.com.ph
They offer brands including but not limited to L'oreal, Maybelline, NYX, ColourPop, ELF, Jordana
Ben Nye, Bare Minerals, Benefit, Christian Dior, Dose of Colors, Lorac, Lime Crime, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Milani, Mac Cosmetics, Urban Decay, Naturactor, Too Faced, The Balm. This is where we got our Milani Baked Blushes. The price is slightly lower than mall prices. Example MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation costs PHP1900 in the mall and only PHP1600 in SiS. Shipping is very fast that we got our order immediately the next day. Only accepts Bank Payment (BDO & BPI) and Money Transfers (Cebuana & LBC).

3. ph.Althea.kr
They offer brands including but not limited to Laneige, Innisfree, Piolang, Too Cool for School, Its Skin, Iope, Tony Moly, Nature Republic, Skin Food, Etude, The Saem, Dr.Jart, Holika Holika, Mamonde, W-Lab, Witch's Pouch. They offer authentic korean products in much lower prices than in malls. They have a free gift that changes weekly, welcome discounts for new members and discount coupons. Shipping may take some time.Offers free shipping for orders PHP1500+. Accepts payment through Creditcard or CoD.

4. Shopee.ph
You can buy almost anything on Shopee... almost. It's like OLX/Lazada/Zalora where products come from different sellers so you can't really guarantee if the product is genuine. But what I like about shopee is you can talk to the seller via chat functionality included in the shopee app so you can ask for product availability or ask for pictures or proof that the product is genuine. Here are some of the trusted sellers I check out with shopee.
makeupholics - US drugstore cosmetics like Maybelline, NYX, Wetnwild, LA Girl, C
koreana_ph - Korean products like Missha, Rire, April Skin, Clio, PeriPera, Apeiu, The Face Shop, Etude, Innisfree, Tony Moly
thebbcreamshopph - Korean products
samplehaven - Korean product samples
beautiliciousdeals - Rimmel, Revlon, Colourpop, Mary Kay, Ben Nye
PrincessShy - otg, usb, memory cards
Payment process may take some time. I usually use mobile banking (transfer to anyone) to transfer the payment to the Shopee Account (take note the account is owned by shopee) then shopee will verify your payment within 3 working days before the seller ships your order. Then once you confirm that you've received the item, shopee will then release the payment to the seller. (win - win). There are sellers that offer free shipping. Multiple payment methods available.

5. Zalora.com.ph
They offer brands including but not limited to Sleek, K-Palette, Nyx, Sigma, Max Factor, Maybelline, Suesh, Happy Skin, ELF, Ofra, L'oreal, Ecotools, V10 Plus, Colourette. This site is similar to Lazada. Free shipping available for order PHP999+ (per seller). Payment available through Creditcard or CoD.

6. Bonmarchepage.com
They offer brands including but not limited to L'oreal, Maybelline, NYX, Nars, Bobbi Brown, Anastasia Beverly Hills, ELF. They have cheaper prices than mall prices but sometimes the products have small defects which they specify clearly in their site so check the description well before buying. Free shipping for orders PHP3000 above. Only accepts Bank Payments (BDO,BPI, Metrobank) or GCash.

Search for the best long lasting lipstick :*

I hate retouching so I have always been in search of a lip stick/tint that's long lasting, won't smudge and stick to just about anything.

I hate it when I drink from a glass or a mug or whatever and I see my lipstick all over the glass.

I hate it when I drink or eat and my lipstick is already gone.

I've tried the following lippies to help you guys decide which is the best one:

Wet and Wild Megalast Lipstick
Bought it for PHP210 from Fleur Shop at Robinsons Malolos
Also available at shopatmakeupholics.com

Spiked with Rum

shameless office selfie after drinking coffee.. lipstick's still there
after dinner lipstick's still there but slowly fading

Pros
It's cheap
It's matte but doesn't feel dry
I love the color and it comes in various other shades.
It leaves a tint so yeah it does last pretty well for a lipstick
Availability

Cons
It smudges
It sticks all over the place very messy
Shelf life is 3 months

NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream
8ml
Bought it for PHP280 each from shopatmakeupholics.com
PHP390 at NYX stores

Cannes and Amsterdam

Cannes

We are both wearing Amsterdam but as you can see the color pay off is different.

This is how Cannes looks like at the end of the day. I repeat Cannes not Amsterdam.

A few thoughts about nyx soft matte lip cream
I bought 2 shades and 5 of my friends also bought their own.
3 of us bought Amsterdam (I think it's the best selling color). 2 out of 3 (me being the exception) find it long lasting and non-drying and I can really see that because they use it. I on the other hand feel it's drying at the end of the day and can't stand not putting chapsticks on top to keep my lips hydrated. Though the color does last long.

Me wearing Amsterdam and my friend wearing Athens after eating a minor league popcorn and lemon juice.

2 of my friends bought the lighter shades namely Athens and Buenos Aires. The color doesn't last long for both of them. I don't know if it has something to do with the lighter shade but yeah it doesn't last long for them. You can even see some clumps for the Athens shade.

I just felt I needed to share their experiences too. I gues what I'm trying to say is the results vary from case to case so don't be afraid to try until you find the right one (and we're still talking about lipstick here don't get any other ideas XD)

Pros
It's pretty cheap
It's matte
The application is easy and smooth
I love the color
It lasts even after you drink or eat
Availability
Shelf life is 18months

Cons
I don't know if you can see the faint lipstick marks but there's a small amount.

Smudges and transfers a bit but considerably better than Wet n Wild Megalast
Feels dry at the edges at the end of the day

Swatch Comparison
From left to right:
Wet n Wild Megalast in Spiked with Rum (dark)
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes (in between)
NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Amsterdam (red)

LA Splash Lip Couture
Bought it for PHP550 (with shipping fee) at Shopee
Seller: summersbeautyonlineshop
Pardon the oiliness I was excited so I tried it on as soon as I received it. First impression it wrinkles a lot.

I was perfectly happy with my NYX soft matte lip creams when a friend asked if I've already tried the LA Splash Lip Couture. The curious bloke that I am, I researched and found good reviews about the product. So naturally I bought one to appease my curiosity and for the sake of my peace of mind. If there's something better out there and I have the means to try it why not take a shot right? XD
At the end of the day, the inner part is gone leaving just a circle of lipstick on the outer part. It doesn't transfer like regular lipstick but it does transfer in crumbs. Knowing that I can eat and drink those crumbs ughh.. x_x

Pros
Doesn't smudge
Doesn't transfer
Shelf Life is 2 years

Cons
Availability
Expensive
Smells like paint
Crinkles a lot
Drying
Crumbles (you know what I mean)

Rimmel London Provocalips
4ml
Bought it for PHP370 (with shipping fee) at Shopee
Seller: summersbeautyonlineshop

While I was looking for the LA Splash Lip Couture I also came accross Rimmel London Provocalips. I have heard good reviews about it before but somehow the glossy finish puts me off. But I decided to try it as well for the sake of my sanity.
It's glossy alright

Pros
Doesn't smudge
Has a top coat to seal the color in
Shelf life is 1 year

Cons
Availability
Smells like paint
Glossy (and looks like there's some shimmering thingies too) I'm not one for sparkles so I'm adding it as a con
It's sticky. It just stopped being sticky when I applied the coat.
I can smell the coat after application so it feels like I can taste it too which is not a good feeling.
It peels.

At the end of the day. It started to peel of like crazy when I was eating :(

Left: LA Splash Lip Couture in Latte Confession
Right: Rimmel London Provocalips in Make Your Move

added the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes for shade comprison (left most)

Verdict
I honestly think the WetnWild Megalast Lipstick is a good choice and you can't go wrong with it (if you don't mind transfers and smudges). It has a cheap price and good quality but I don't think it's fair to compare it with the lip tints. So I'm gonna leave it out of comparison.

I'm pretty happy with all the shades (dark-reddish barely there colors) I purchased so they're all equal in that regard. Though my sister said LA Splash was more on the pinkish side.

Application wise, I'll give it to NYX because it's creamy so it glides smoothly and not sticky compared with the other two. Worst for me was the Rimmel London Provocalips.

With the scent, I'll give it to NYX because it doesn't smell like paint. Though you wouldn't really notice the smell once it's applied. Again worst smell goes to Rimmel London Provocalips.

Okay when I say worst, I mean worst of the 3 not worst as in horrible okay? But you already know that so..

LA Splash gets pigmentation,it's so matte that it highlights the lines in my lips a lot next would be NYX and last is Rimmel London.

The feel on your lips, Rimmel gets this one. I feel like it's the least drying, next is NYX and worst is LA Splash.

Longevity, they all last long compared to regular lipstick and can all withstand a drink and a meal but what matters for me is "how" they fade. In this regard, I like NYX better because it doesn't crumble or peel off like the other two and you can reapply it easily.

I'm pretty dissappointed with LA Splash Lip Couture and Rimmel London Provacalips. They had such good reviews but I guess you can't please everybody and I happen to be one of them. My lips are naturally dry so maybe it's just me. Obviously, I'm sticking with NYX. I really tried and gave the other two a chance, trying it with chapsticks to relieve the dryness but it fades easily. The best way to apply them is with bare and clean lips. They last longer that way.

Also, with long lasting lipsticks, comes the problem of removing them..long lasting remeber? :) You'd need a make up remover or oil to remove them properly. So you might want to think of that one too.

1. NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Cannes2. Rimmel London Provocalips in Make your Move
3. LA Splash Lip Couture in Latte Confession
4. WetnWild Megalast in Spiked with Rum
Which one's your bet? :)

Fleur at Robinsons Malolos

As of the moment this is my favorite store at Robinsons Malolos. Why? Because they have lots of kikay stuff!!!

My sister was looking for new tops and the choices are pretty limited here. Then we went in the Fleur shop for the first time and my sister had to drag me back out XD.

First of all they have alot of cute tops and sweatshirts which I really love.

Then this section made it even more interesting! There are only a limited selection of make up brands you can find at watsons and in the department store and then there's etude house but it's just not enough :(
They sell make up brushes! BH Cosmetics PHP1500 and Real Techniques brush sets and some others too. <I had to practice a lot of self control to prevent myself from buying another brush! (>_<)>
They have lippies like wet and wild megalast and colour pop.
They have a lot of elf products from blushes to eyebrow palettes.
They have wet and wild color icon eyeshadow palettes and blushes.
They have BH Cosmetics It'sJudyTime Palette!!! And other blushes too.
They have brush guards and egg brushes.
They even have Rimmel Stay Matte Powder too bad they didn't have the transluscent shade anymore :( They only have 2 pcs. left with shades of buff beige and true beige. <i think?>
And the prices are really affordable! It's almost as if you bought it on online stores.

So I ended up buying these in the end. I love the sweatshirts! They're so comfy! Blue with Hearts PHP350. Gray PHP440. Very cheap compared to others.
BH Cosmetics It's Judy Time Palette - PHP1050
Elf Eyeshadow Primer - PHP125
Wet n Wild Megalast Lipstick in Spiked Rum - PHP219
Brush Egg - PHP100
Brush Guard 15pcs. - PHP200

I know! Don't judge me! It's hard earned money and I deserve it! ^_^

I was planning to buy it online so imagine my surprise of seeing one here!

I'm sooooo excited to try this!

"Natural is beautiful but makeup is glam"

Elf Eyelid Primer. Elf is known as a drugstore (hence affordable) brand with good quality. So I want to try this along with my new eyeshadow palette! ^_^

I was really happy to see wet and wild megalast lipsticks in the flesh. You can research the swatches on the internet but seeing it first hand is still the best.
I bought the shade Spiked with Rum which I think fits me. I just hope it really lasts long. :)

Egg Brush! My sister immediately grabbed one and made me pay for it. <she cleans my brushes so I have no say on the matter>. I was expecting it to be a little bigger but it's actually cute sized.

Yay! Brush Guards! to of course protect the brushes and keep them in shape. :)

Check them out at 2F Robinsons Malolos. You can also check them on facebook Fleur Concept Botique.
