Gudo Pizza Pasta Steak Peri Peri (reminds me of Pen Pineapple Apple Pen XD) is located at 17 Congressional Avenue Extension, brgy pasong tamo,  Quezon City, 1107 Metro Manila. It's open everyday from 12-10pm.

I'm not really a steak person so I prefer it well done and it was good. The mashed potato was good, the pizza looks pale but was surprisingly good too. It's a nice place with delicious and affordable food.. worth the travel.

Cafe Lidia

Our friends have been urging us to try this place for a while now, they had nothing to say but praises on how good the food was etcetera etcetera and so we made a bet, if we didn't like the food, they'll be the one to pay. I'm not one to pass on a good deal. And so we went to Cafe Lidia located at #64 Calderon St., Calumpang, Marikina City.

Yep, it's a bit far that's why we're hesitant to go in the first place. It took us around 30minutes to reach the place from Technohub via private vehicle.

We arrived around 8pm and luckily there's no queue. When we went out around 9pm the waiting area was already full.

THE SERVICE

Our friend called a waiter and ordered Buffalo Wings and Nachos in advance for appetizers and it arrived promptly after taking all our orders. You can actually have the appetizers as appetizers and not as main dishes you know what I mean? In short the service was really fast.

For appetizers we had Buffalo Wings and Nachos. So remember about our bet? I tasted the Buffalo Wings and the first thing that came out of my mouth was "Mmnnn" <unconsciously> and just like that I lost the bet. 😧

This is what I ordered. The pork was good even without the sauce. I wasn't able to finish the Mashed Potato because I was already full. I don't usually eat veggies but I did because they were also tasty.

The place was far but I wouldn't mind going back to try other dishes. It's a nice place with really good service and good food. You really get what you pay for. Sulit!

The Chocolate Kiss Cafe

We went out for dinner to escape the stress from work (temporarily). Our friend recommended The Chocolate Kiss Cafe located at 2F Ang Bahay ng Alumni, Magsaysay Street, UP Diliman Campus.

This was what I ordered. It's like chicken cordon bleu, very good and tasty.

My friend says he still prefers Casa Verde's but it's good nonetheless.

Dessert Menu

This place is actually known for their desserts. So we tried their cake sampler which only costs PHP95 and contains 4 slices of different cake flavors of your choice.

 

From the Left: Dayap Chiffon Cake, Devil's Food Cake, Kahlua Butter Cake, Carrot Cake.

The Devil's Food Cake and Carrot Cake were too sweet for my taste.

The Kahlua was just right.

My favorite is the Dayap Chiffon Cake which was light with a tinge of sweetness.

(I can taste it in my mouth right know XD)

The place would've passed as romantic if not for the distraction at a near table where a group of students were playing Pinoy Henyo which totally ruined the peace and calm atmosphere of the place. (Don't mind the grumpy old lady XD)

There were musicians playing acoustic?/instrumental which was really nice but the music was overpowered by the noise on the next table -_-. (Totally not the restaurant's fault but still)

Anyway, this is a must try. Can't wait to have that Dayap Chiffon Cake again :)
