Kape ATBP.

Kape atbp. is a relatively new place in town near Petron Gas Station at Poblacion, Hagonoy Bulacan.

It has a nice ambiance with that coffee place feel (duh kape atbp.?)

MENU

GROUP MEALS

So we tried out a couple of their dishes and drinks
Spicy Spanish Sardine Pasta PHP98
Is okay.. my aunt and sister doesn't like the smell but it tastes okay.

Carbonara PHP98
Is a bit salty for me.

Choco Nutella Waffle PHP 88
Looks really yummy but tastes meh.. it has a lemony (detergent)? aftertaste.

Taco Quesadilla PHP88
Is good and crisp. Mayo is too sweet.

Buffalo Chicken Wings PHP108
Probably the most sulit meal here. 4pcs of wings with rice. It's good but I still prefer Frankies!

Garlic Parmesan Chicken Wings PHP108
Is like fried chicken sprinkled with Parmesan.

Chocolate Smores PHP108
Is too sweet

Sea Salt Macchiato PHP108
Is their best seller. Taste pretty much like Starbucks' toffeenut drink

Ice Blended Matcha Green Tea PHP108
Is okay

Hot Matcha Green Tea PHP98
Is okay

I like the ambience. There's nothing really special about the food or the drinks. Serving took too much time! We ordered the Quesadilla on our first order but our take out order was even served first before the Quesadilla and everything else took too much time to be served so don't come here if you're really hungry.

The one in Hagonoy has already moved to the previous Home Sweet Home location. They are open Monday-Friday from 9am to 7pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm. They don't accept credit cards.

Services offered:

They had a 50% off promo on facials and scrubs when we came so I availed a full body scrub PHP400 (normally PHP800) and diamond peel PHP505 (normally PHP1100) for my aunt and sister.

Waiting Lounge

This is where the diamond peels were done.
They have a separate closed room for body scrubs and showers.

Diamond Peel

The main reason I went here was for warts removal.
How much?
PHP500 per 25pcs on the face area. PHP1500 unlimited warts removal with free cream on face and neck area.
Procedure?
They will apply a cream form of anesthesia on the warts and let it stay for 45minutes then they used a device to burn the warts. You can't wash it or get it wet for 3 days. Apply the cream day and night. In my case after 4 days, the black burns start to disappear one by one.
Does it hurt?
It's not totally pain free but it doesn't hurt as much as pricking on facials. Pricking is much much more painful.
Scars?
Most didn't but there's one on my cheek which left a scar. :(

Kumain Tayo sa Anghel

My lola just came home from the states and we opt to dine out for dinner today. She's already turning 90 so she doesn't want to go far. The nearest if not the only descent restaurant here is Kumain tayo sa Anghel located at the heart of the town at the 2nd floor of Puso mall in Hagonoy Bulacan. It's just walking distance from our house so it was the perfect choice.

You can pass through the kitchen on your way up

The first time I went to dine here I fell in love with the ambiance.

It's kind of intimidating when you look from the outside but you'll be surprised that their food are affordable.

Table centerpiece

They offer the usual filipino cuisines.
The Menu

Their servings are just right for the price
Lechon Kawali PHP119

Chicharong Bulaklak PHP97

Spaghetti PHP105

Kare-kare PHP122

Pistang Baryo PHP175

Dessert
Halo Halo PHP49

Buko Pandan PHP27

Overall, its a good place to dine without burning your pocket. The food is good and I love their desserts. It would have been great if they offer a variety of coffee. It seems like a good place to chill and drink coffee. :)
