Nabana No Sato Winter Illumination

Nabana No Sato is a Flower Park located near Nagashima in Nagoya. 

But during winter, the park turns into a magical park with lights also called Winter Illumination.

From Nagoya, ride a train to Nagashima, and from Nagashima, ride a bus to Nabana No Sato park.

Entrance is ¥2100 and it inludes a ¥1000 voucher which you can use inside the Gift Shop to buy souveneirs.

It was spring when we came so there were various kinds of beautiful flowers in the park.

There's also a view point which is like a tower where you can view the entire park from above.

Of course there are also cherry blossom trees

And at night when the clock strikes 7:00PM, the park turns into something more..

Tunnel of Lights

It's a long tunnel decorated with what must be thousands of led lights

at the end of the tunnel is a light show themed Heidi, Girl of the Alps

We were lucky the Winter Illumination was still on-going. If I'm not mistaken it lasts until May? It was such a beautiful sight to see :)
