Wawa Dam located at Montalban Rizal used to be the only water source for Metro Manila until Angat Dam was built according to wiki. Yes I know its not exactly a waterfalls but as long as there's flowing water we're good :p.
We departed at Technohub at 9AM Saturday and arrived around 10AM. You can go there via J.P Rizal St. or via Payatas Rd if you have a car. There's a parking space near the Dam which you can avail for PHP20.

If you're going to commute, take an FX from Trinoma going to Eastwood Montalban and from there you can ride a jeepney or tricycle to Wawa Dam.
From the parking area you can also see Wawa Gorge, the place where the legendary Bernardo Carpio was trapped trying to hold the two peaks apart. Don't worry, you don't have to climb that to get to the Dam :p.
Wawa Gorge
The Dam is just 5-10minutes away from the parking lot. There's a walkway built on the side which you can see in the picture below.
You'll also pass by some nipa huts where fruits and vegetables were sold. There's also this one who sells snails.

small waterfalls which you can see on the bridge
We didn't really tried going down since this was already a good spot to take pictures and we didn't really plan on getting wet. But I don't think its hard to go down since there were kids down there. I think you have to rent the Nipa huts. It's a nice place to chill and have a picnic.
So this is pretty much what we came here for. Please don't judge! It's my first :p. I used Nikon D5300 with 18-140mm lens with a fairly cheap tripod and no filters and did some editing using Lightroom.
If you go up the walkway further, there's a sari-sari store beside these ruins. But they don't sell water :( only softdrinks and some chips.
I really like this shot. <sets as profile picture>
Lastly, this is what you'll see from the window of the ruins. Its what's on top of the Dam. Rafts which again you can rent and take you sliding all the way down to the Dam. Kidding V(^_^). But yeah you can rent one. :)
Overall it was a productive trip for me. I was quite satisfied with the pictures I took. Next time maybe I'll come back here just to chill out and have a picnic with my family :).
